Move-Out Cleaning

Dust and wipe all surfaces
Clean baseboards and trim
Vacuum and mop all floors
Clean walls (spot clean or full wipe-down if needed)
Clean inside closets and shelves
Remove trash and debris

Move-In Cleaning 

All of the move-out tasks plus extra attention to sanitizing, since you're preparing for new occupancy:

Disinfect all high-touch areas (light switches, doorknobs, etc.)
Extra deep cleaning of kitchen and bathroom surfaces
Dust inside vents and ceiling fans
Ensure appliances are sanitized
